Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-15 (draft)
Draft — this policy is being reviewed by counsel and may change before it takes effect.
Who we are
BeeMar Capital helps homeowners explore financing for home-improvement projects, usually after a contractor they already trust invites them. This policy explains what we collect from homeowners, contractors, and visitors to beemarlending.com, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
BeeMar Capital is not the lender and does not make credit decisions. Approval, rates, terms, fees, availability, and funding are determined by participating financing partners.
What we collect
From contractors (Builder Partners)
When a contractor applies to the Builder Partner program we collect business information they enter themselves: company name, website, year established, trades, states served, business address, contact name, email address, phone number, typical project volume and ticket size, how they heard about us, and any comments they add. We also keep the reference code we assign to the application and its status.
From homeowners
When a homeowner starts an application we collect contact details and project details: name, email address, phone number (optional), property ZIP code, the contractor they are working with, project type, budget range, and timeline. If they arrived through a contractor’s invitation, the invitation may already carry the name, email address, phone number, or project type that the contractor entered.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other financial account information on this site today. If a financing partner needs that information later, you provide it to them under their own privacy policy. If that ever changes here, this policy changes with it — see Changes to this policy.
From BeeMar administrators
BeeMar staff sign in to review applications. We keep their sign-in sessions and the status changes they make so we know which applications have been reviewed.
Automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — so the site stays available and abuse can be blocked. We also record whether an invitation link was opened, so the contractor who sent it can see that their customer got started.
How we use it
- To review a contractor’s application to the Builder Partner program.
- To create, deliver, and track invitations a contractor sends to their customer.
- To receive a homeowner’s application and confirm we got it.
- To match a project with participating financing partners and talk with you about options. We ask before we pass your details to a financing partner. [counsel to confirm]
- To send transactional email and text messages about the things above — sign-in links, invitations, status notices.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. [counsel to confirm]
Who we share it with
We share only what a recipient needs to do its job:
- Our email provider — to deliver sign-in links, invitations, and confirmations. It receives the recipient’s email address and the contents of the message.
- Our text-message provider — when a text invitation is sent, it receives the mobile number and the message.
- Our hosting and database providers — they store the information described above on infrastructure located in the United States.
- Participating financing partners — when you ask us to explore an option with them. [counsel to confirm]
- Professional advisors, or authorities — where the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
Contractors see status, not detail. A Builder Partner who invites you can see that the invitation was sent, that an application was started, and that it is under review. They do not see your financial information, your documents, or anything you tell BeeMar privately.
Text messages
BeeMar sends text messages only about a specific invitation or application — never marketing blasts.
- Consent. Consent to receive text messages is yours to give. A contractor cannot give it on your behalf. A Builder Partner may give us your mobile number so we can deliver the invitation they told you about; that first message identifies who sent it and tells you how to stop. Replying to continue is how you opt in to anything further. [counsel to confirm]
- What we send. Invitation links from your contractor and notices about your own application.
- Message frequency varies. Most people get a handful of messages tied to one project.
- Message and data rates may apply. Ask your mobile carrier about your plan.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. We will send one confirmation and then stop texting that number.
- Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel your application, and it does not stop transactional email about it.
Cookies
We use session cookies only — the small tokens that keep a contractor signed in to the Builder Partner portal and a BeeMar administrator signed in to the review queue. They are set only after you sign in, they expire, and they carry no advertising identifier.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. [counsel to confirm]
How long we keep it
- Invitations expire 30 days after they are created and can be revoked by the contractor at any time.
- Sign-in links and sessions are single-use or short-lived and are deleted when they expire.
- Applications and partner records are kept while the relationship is active and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal, tax, and recordkeeping purposes. [counsel to confirm]
Your choices
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Reply STOP to any text message, or ask us to stop emailing you about a project.
- Decline an invitation entirely — tell your contractor, or simply never start the application.
Email us at the address below and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to appeal a refusal. [counsel to confirm]
Children
BeeMar is for adults. The site is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information you already gave us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. [counsel to confirm]
